Projects

Here are a few personal projects that take up some free time, most are 3/4 complete. If you are interested to invest some money in one or two so that I can devote more time to it, give me a shout on the contact page. Maybe we can work something out.

Note:
I have confidentiality agreements with most of my clients, if you would like a list of hired work please request information through the contact page. You may download my codesample called “beep? beep!” here.

Chaz Chat (AIR Chat)

chaz chat

Url:

N/A

Function:

Chaz is a Free Open Source chat client built for Adobe Integrated Runtime or AIR. I started this as a proof of concept for a simple HTML / AJAX based chat client that could be secured by HTTPS and run via a webserver using PHP formatting XML from MySQL queries. Currently it uses sqLite as it’s backend and jQuery as the AJAX library.

WARNING:

This was only built in a couple hrs, and the code is ALPHA quality, I released this because I stopped playing with it, so if someone else would like to play with it.. here it is. Honestly, the reason being is that I LOATHE working in Dreamweaver. As usual, all of the code is hand written in Textmate, but switching back and fourth from TM to DW to test every 15 minutes.. It has really put me off on working with Adobe AIR. Chaz can be downloaded here on the downloads page, includes full source and AIR project file.

Built in:

PHP, AJAX (jQuery), XHTML, XML, CSS, sqLite

beep? beep!

beep beep thumb

Url:

N/A

Function:

Most, if not all of the companies that I have ever done work for have used some sort of NDA, thus I can not release their code as a sample. This is a little rss reader project that I built and update every once in a while to fill that gap. It uses many different types of PHP internal functions and shows aggregation, database driven dynamic design, and page creation. There is also a bit of tongue and cheek thrown in to make it more complicated then it really has to be. beep? beep! can be downloaded here on the downloads page.

Built in:

PHP, AJAX, XHTML, CSS, sqLite
